Our first was this way. If she was awake she was crying. I felt like I was robbed of the newborn experience because she was never happy. We tried to get to the bottom of it - addressed allergies, tongue tie and she saw an osteopath but nothing helped. It’s hard and it’s lonely because people don’t understand how tough it is if they’ve not had a baby like that. We found as she got older she needed a lot of stimulation, was bored and just hated being a baby. Things got so much better when she started to crawl, then walk and now she is such a happy 3 year old! Take each day at a time, get outside and I recommend hey bear sensory on YouTube for when you want to distract them and need a break!

Some babies are just harder than others, it’s to do with temperament I think. My 2nd was really high needs, cried a lot and just generally struggled (there was nothing medically wrong with her) she’s now a very happy 2 year old but strong willed! It’s the luck of the draw you aren’t doing anything wrong. Baby wear as much as possible would be my advice and get out of the house it will distract them. This too shall pass mama

Have you ruled out wind etc? xx
