Double Pram or Single and Buggy Board

Needing some help! 🤞🏼 due baby no2 in January and am going to need to get a double pram but all that I’ve been looking at go up to 15KG per seat. we have a LB who is already 14kg at the age of 2 so seems pointless getting one of these and don’t want to spend the money on a Bugaboo Donkey. Anyone have any alternative suggestions. My other option would be to get sell our Nuna which can’t have a buggy board attached. Get a Fox 5 with buggy board with seat and hope my LB likes that? Any suggestions would be HUGElY appreciated 🫶🏼🫶🏼

@Karla thought you may want to see the results from this post too xx

Following as in exactly the same situation

We had 2 under 2 & I ended up buying both… & use both depending on what mood my LB(eldest)is in.. at the mo he is refusing the buggy board & loves to be in the double.. so so handy for holidays ect too I think as he gets older we may use the buggy board again but wouldn’t be without my double.. I got the baby jogger which seats are up to 15kg & my LB is 2.5 & still fits in fine (not sure on his weight recently).. my friends little boy is a month older than mine but twice the size so she got the slightly bigger baby jogger looks very similar but is a few inches wider & holds more weight.. just is obviously heavier & that bit bigger that it doesn’t fit through all doorways like mine does Hope this was a bit of a help xx

I would definitely recommend getting a double unless you use your buggy rarely, and when used it’s for short durations. I tried a buggy board with my son when he was 2 and it was so hit and miss. I think 2 is still quite young to understand they need to stand up on the board or walk haha
