Fertility clinic NHS

I’ve been given an appointment to see a gynecologist at a fertility clinic through the NHS.. but it’s only a phone consultation. Anyone else also have a phone consultation? Do they assess you first and then you go for ultrasound?

I was given a phone consultation first and then sent for ultrasound and HSG, then with a follow up in person appointment a few months later. Hope this helps xx

@Hannah thank you :) and how long did it take for the Dr to prescribe you ovulation meds from the initial consultation?

I got prescribed 6 months of clomid on the first in person consultation at the hospital, and then 6 months after first appointment got a second appointment to review being on clomid xx

Hi, I worked in fertility clinics in London. Normally it would be a telephone initial consultation and then they will get you in for testing etc. feel free to message me with any questions, if you let me know the clinic I might of worked their before so will know the protocol.

@Dreia sent you a DM :)

All of my fertility appointments have been over the telephone. If I had a face to face appointment it was when I was going through all the tests and investigations.
