Extra fluid

Hi all having my baby via section 5th November... Went for 36 weeks scan yesterday and they said fluid is measuring high around the baby. They aren't overly concerned but have to be re scanned next week I was wondering if anyone who has had this would be willing to share their experience of what to expect. Thanks all xx

Yep they said I had a bit of extra fluid, not polyhydramnios levels though. They asked me to repeat the GTT but it was negative. In the end they said it was normal, as I have a bigger baby and they need bigger swimming pools to move around in as the midwife put it 🤣

Ha love it. Yeah I'm having GTT repeated tomorrow for a third time! Will see what they say. Thank you x x

I had it but they couldn’t find a medical reason. I’ve just had a rescan at just under 36 weeks and the fluid has dropped back below the normal line. They said to me it can be an indication they’re about to have a growth spurt. See what happens at the rescan

hey, in my growth scan reports i always have “mind polyhydramnios” written down, i think my levels are just above 8 so its not crazy levels. they don’t seem too concerned! i do have GD xx
