Vomiting when eating

Hi has anybody had any issues with lo vomiting when eating solids? My lo who is 9 months vomits when eating lumpy or finger foods has done since 6 months so we can’t seem to get past the purées! 😭 I think it’s his gag reflex but just wondered if anybody else has experienced this or has any advise? Thanks

Have you tried textured purées? So a purée blended up but not completely smooth but not fully lumpy?x

Yeah still has the same effect unfortunately 😭

I’d maybe take him doctors and make sure everything is okay and there isn’t an issue with anything x

Yeah I’d speak to the GP, and/or HV and see if there’s anything else going on for baby x

Thank you I’ve spoke to doctors but aren’t really interested so far, been speaking to healthy family team as well but going to ask for health visitor to see us x
