I’m really close to my husband’s brother’s wife. We literally talk about everything And I’m pretty decent with my brothers wife, just not AS close
I get along with my sil but I wouldn't say we're close close. We don't usually randomly text. Just to make plans for the kids. And we don't typically hang out without the kids unless my mil plans something.
My husband only has 1 sister. I have a good relationship with her , just not that close close but I can talk to her about anything. She’ll be moving in with us in the beginning of next year. She’s in her 20’s (24).
This just seems silly to me. I'd never expect anything like that from my partners sister. I am dating him. His sister has absolutely nothing to do with me. I would not go out of my way to attempt and creat something "just cuz" with her either.

My sil lived with us for 4 years so we were close then, we now have kids similar ages and see each other loads still. We hang out without my brother around, she's one of my friends not just my sil

I wish so too but my sister in law is considerably older than me, about 15 years. We get on but it's more like a niece/aunt vibe
