@Kath oh I’m a bit behind then my baby is nearly 5 months haha
I signed up and paid a deposit when I was 20w pregnant for a space from when my baby’s 10 months old. I had a specific nursery I wanted to use and near me they get booked up way in advance
Spaces can be hard to find, especially now there is more funding available
As soon as you can as spaces are filling up quickly especially for babies. The nursery I work at we have no spaces for babies until September 2025 x
I did it in April this year and my son was due June. So a year before I need it. I think it was mainly for my sanity knowing it was sorted and I’ve heard stories of people struggling with finding a space.
