How many days has it been? Newborns can not poo for up to 10 days. Sometimes my LO goes 5 - 6 days. I usually give him a shower or bath with the water over his tummy then a massage for 10 minutes do the leg movements (and then I eat curry) usually poops that night 😂

If breastfed it's normal for them to go a week between poops. Especially at this age.

Knees to chest worked quite well for my little one but was always told it was normal for him to be constipated for up to 5 days

My LO was given laxatives by the GP on day 4 as he was so uncomfortable and upset x

She can have 1 oz of apple juice a day and then once she is 2 months old she can have 2 oz the general rule is 1 oz of juice per month of age up to 4 oz. You can also get the Frida Windi to help stimulate her muscles or you can do the same thing with a q-tip and some Vaseline

Do not give baby apple juice or any type of juice their digestive systems are not ready for it at this point. Instead try a warm bath followed by bicycle legs and a tummy massage. However, if baby is breastfed they can go 7-10 days without pooping as their body absorb a lot of the breast milk leaving little waste. If baby is formula fed give it one more day and if there’s still no bowel movements ring your doctors and ask for some stool softener like movicol and that will do the trick but please don’t give baby any juice c

I had to switch my son’s formula a few times before I found one that didn’t constipate him.

Get the WINDI by Frieda it’s an enema for babies. Works wonders

I run my babies a hot bath to relax the muscles a d that usually gets the job done (sometimes too well). With my first, I gave her 1oz of diluted apple juice (the pure organic kind, not the ones with all the other stuff in it). That was actually suggested by her pediatrician and worked by the next day.
