Am I just being stupid
My son turns 1 in the morning and tonight now all of a sudden I have period like pains in my belly that feel exactly like they did a year ago today when everything labour wise started happening is this normal to experience the same pains a year on
Like does your body remember what it went through so it’s like déjà vu situation or am I being stupid
Cause it’s not a period as I’ve just had one like a week ago

@Alex thank you Luckily nothing was traumatic it’s just the same pains that I had It’s not going away and it’s feels exactly like contractions do when they first start or really pad period pains xx I’m trying to get to sleep but I can’t get comfy cause of the pain xx
I was wondering why I had 3 days of horrendous contraction like period pains this month, this actually makes sense 😂 just popping this here to say you’re not alone in having that feeling, I even said to my husband I felt like I was 4-5cm all over again 😂
I had this! My little boy was 1 on Saturday but like Thursday and Friday I felt like I was going into labour again! How strange 🤭

Oh no, sorry you're going through that! Didn't happen to me but it could be like a flashback if it was traumatic for you? I used to have a lot of flashbacks but it was fear rather than pain which was traumatic so I haven't relived the actual pain. I would try to do something to take your mind off that and back to the present moment, it's 2024, your baby is nearly one, some grounding activities to help you remember that. Hug your baby or look at photos, burn a candle, have a bath, eat something with a strong flavour. You did and are doing amazing
