Dog licking baby's face.

My dog licks my baby’s mouth. I stopped it when my baby was under 3 months as she didn’t have the head control to turn away if she didn’t like it. But now that she can turn away if she doesn’t like it, I let her assert her space. She’ll pull the dog’s face/ears gently when it gets to be too much. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I don’t see how it’s less safe than my baby licking the floor as she tries to crawl. 😂

My dogs lick mine all the time hahaha

If she doesn’t get an adverse reaction to it, there’s worse things My baby has sensitive skin so when she gets licked by my in-laws lab she breaks out in a red rash where she got licked so I have to wash it off and put a cream to make the redness go away. Needless to say, I don’t let him lick her anymore.

I personally don’t like our family dogs licking my daughter anywhere. They lick their bums, sniff and eat poo etc.
