hungry baby??

Baby girl is 4 weeks old and has just started finishing 4oz of kendamil usually at each feed, however, around her last bottle before bedtime she screams for more, I’ll make her another bottle and she will have another 1-2oz so can be around 6oz for one feed. Anyone else experienced this? Is it normal?? She just started sleeping long stretches through the night so I’m wondering if she’s having a bigger feed to last her through the night?

My little boy is exactly the same! He’s currently formula and breast as I couldn’t keep up with his hunger when I was breastfeeding alone! He’s also on Kendamil he’s now 5 weeks old and will take 5 oz every 2-3 hours, and will also top up on breast milk when he’s hungry! He was a big baby and my midwife said that it’s normal and he is perfectly healthy! X

Following as my 2 week old is the exact same!

@Maisie oh I’m glad it seems to be normal then! She isn’t particularly big, she was 7lb15oz at birth and last weigh in she was over 8lb5oz (almost 2 weeks ago now). It’s hard understanding her cues when they’re different every night🫣

@Lois have you tried using dummies? When our boy starts to winge, we try a dummy, nappy change and a cuddle before we offer a feed, once we offer a feed we make sure we are pacing so stopping every ounce or so to burp, and we won’t offer more bottle after each burp unless he asks for it xx

@Maisie I’ll try it, I’ve offered her dummy’s a few times but she never seems that interested and pulls the most disgusted face at me🤣x
