When are you planning to ditch the cushion insert for ikea highchair?

We still use our atm, I plan to keep using until my LB is too big to have it in there. I do have a second ikea high chair at my sisters, who we see monthly, and that doesn't have the insert in, and he's fine without it as well. I just like that he's got that extra support atm as he'll occasionally still cough/gag when he's eating x
My mum has one and it has the cushion in. My in laws have one and it doesn’t. I haven’t really thought about taking it out of my mums one, I guess when he feels a bit too snug in there?

I took it out to clean it the other day and never put it back! My daughter is almost 1 but big so she's comfy without it!
