Same here. I broke yesterday I had a sip of Ginger Ale because I got nauseous, stomach was extremely queasy.

GD since week 10, copying by having a piece of chocolate as a treat if my levels been in check all day 💙 it’s not much but it helps

YES. It sucks. A small piece of chocolate has got to be ok as a one off. Not the same but Graze do these small oat fingers in cocoa and vanilla- they've been keeping me going

Graze are great! Got the full range 😂

Please check out gestational diabetes uk on Facebook they have a website they have things that will work for ur sweet tooth and not give you a bad reading they even have a brownie recipe! I stuck with there diet from 34 weeks till i had my baby at 40 weeks nearly and didn’t have one out of range reading ! It’s all gd friendly recipes It’s all about pairing foods I had 2 narins chocolate oat biscuits with loads of Philadelphia cream cheese on top and was like cheese cake and worked well for me

Yes, starting to feel pretty fed up with it now after having it so long. I cracked and ate a cookie today. I’ve been having a handful of Forest Feast Salted Chocolate covered almonds most evenings and my numbers have been in range after. They are covered in Belgium dark chocolate so they give that sweet hit I’ve been craving.

If you look on the GD UK website there's recipes for chocolate brownies cheesecake. Blondes. Chocolate mouse, millionaires cheesecake etc all self paired. You don't have to miss out

I had a ‘fun size’ twix at the weekend and my sugar levels didn’t spike. I think it’s carbs that set me off more. Might be worth having a little to see. Perhaps start with dark chocolate first as that’s generally better for you.

@Rachel you can spike and crash within an hour

I want apple pie😭😭

Thanks guys I just needed to rant was having a moment xxx

@Victoria That sounds amazing with the French or Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. I hate having diabetes 😢

@Jo'Nique doesn't it!

I'm having a nothing moment stropping because I can't have something sweet, I hate the diabetes also 😤 I always think if I didn't have the test I would of been none the wiser 😂

I have my blood testing in 20 minutes and if I'm in range I'm having a couple a pieces of chocolate 😂😂😂
