Anyone else losing your mind???

3 year old and 2 month old….. I just want to scream into the void since no one else listens to me. Every 5 min it’s “look mama” “mama look at this” “can I have a snack” “can I have _____” and then when I give him what he asked for “no!” Also his new thing is throwing toys behind the sofa - including a cheese stick from lunch today. Then the baby only wants to sleep on me but doesn’t always tolerate the carrier so if I don’t hold him for naps he cries and it’s so loud my ears hurt. I don’t let him cry for long but sometimes putting him down is just necessary. Usually the bath is a good way to make the toddler happy but lately he’s been splashing TONS of water out of the tub and since he doesn’t listen to me when I tell him to stop, the consequence has to be “bath is all done”. He’s also weaning himself off the one nap he takes so there goes my midday break to just spend time with baby. No family/friends and hubby works all day so it’s just me. Hats off to you single moms. Survival mode is an understatement.

I’m so sorry you’re going thru this. I hope something good happens to you this week.

I’m in the same boat! A two about to be three year old in one week and a one month old! I’m on the verge of crying every other day

@Gene it’s so, so hard….

In the thick of it over here too. 💜

I’m right there with you. A 2.5 year old that’s definitely pushing the limits and a 2 month old. It’s not easy at all but I keep telling myself it won’t be like this forever.

Just try day by day! Put boundaries with the toddler and get out of the house walkkkkk would save your mind 🤍🤍prayers to you ✨

Thanks ladies 😓 my toddler is a runner when it’s time to leave the playground or come inside the house (no yard, just a strip of grass between the townhouses and the street and he’s already run into the road). Intimidating to leave the house esp since baby wants to be held all the time but I’ll try talking them for walks this week.

Wait … this is my life right now too. I have a 3 year old and 2 month old. My 2 month old is the same. Literally the crying in my ear and not able to put him down is so draining. It sounds like your 3 year old is acting out because of the new baby. Are you able to get any alone time with him? Thinking of you and wishing you easier days/nights!

Same boat 🤚🏼 my favorite is my 3 yr olds new thing where no food on the planet is good enough. He actually threw his entire plate on the ground one day when I wasn’t looking. And the constant whining for attention since he’s having to share mom and dad with baby 😵‍💫
