Double pushchair recommendations?

I’ve just had my second (now 8 weeks old) and have a tall 3 year old. So I think I’m going to have to bite the bullet and invest in a double pushchair, I don’t want to spend too much as I cant see us getting more than a year out of it. I think they’ll want to be side by side, but also my daughter is such a wriggler, I’d like there to be a decent sort of separation or barrier between them otherwise she’ll keep waking the baby or knocking him. Any recommendations? Thanks very much!

No recommendations for a pram, but have you looked on facebook market, might be worth while as you might not get use out of a new one with a 3yr old 😊

We have the out n about double, we love it, side by side and has a barrier down the middle! We got ours second hand off of marketplace for like £70, didn’t want to buy a new one as only wanted it for long days out etc!

Thanks, I’ve been keeping my eyes open but at the moment there are only a couple on anywhere near me and they seem to be asking basically the same price you would pay for them new (over £600)

I have a oyster I got of fb marketplace. I did have the my babie one but lorrrrrd I hated it lol. I've had Mine over a year now. Still going strong x

Have you thought about a sitting buggy board those are good.

@Nikki we have got one and tried it but she doesn’t want to go on it. We do quite a lot of hills and bumpy path walks, which don’t seem to work so well with it. It toppled on a steep hill and now she’s having none of it 🤦‍♀️ I also find it a bit awkward to push the push chair with it on?

@Kiki oo thanks, I’ll check that out. Has your 3 year old still got decent head room in it?

@Ellie yeaa my boys long and skinny. He got lots of room. He walks most of the time but I still bring double for him to jump in and out off. When he gets tierd

I had my second in July there and honestly would recommend a seated buggy board instead.

I would get a second hand bugaboo donkey. You can parent face one seat and forward face the other so this helps with separating children if one is napping and the other is not. Once your older child grows out of it you can turn it into a single mode and have a side basket which is handy. I’m 6 weeks pregnant now and my daughter will be nearly 4 yo when my baby is born but I want it just in case she feels left out and wants to be in a pushchair with her sister. Each seat can hold up to 22kg so they only issue could be the hight.
