Early scan: andominal or internal?
For those who have already had an early scan around 8 weeks: was it an abdominal or an internal scan?

I had an internal scan at 7 weeks with my first, and 8+4 with my current. It can depend on the screening place you book with. You can try external early but I think they get a clearer view internal xx
I had internal at 6 weeks and external 7+4 ☺️
I had external at 7 weeks and an internal at 9 weeks. Internal was less blurry and more clear and was able to see more and was less painful for me personally. The 7 week scan I felt like I had bruised belly after she was pushing the ultrasound wand down so hard to see things, it made me unwell afterwards. For me internal scan was much more comfortable and also seen more on screen too.
