Are infant carriers safe to use as car seats for newborns?

Im looking for an affordable travel system for when my baby arrives and I've had a look at the MyBabiie travel systems with the carrier and isofix base. Is this a good option till my baby is around 6 months after which I'll transition into a proper car seat? Any help would be appreciated. I'm just not able to spend a lot of money on a stroller and car seat atm and with my first just had a Kinderkraft travel system that cost me £150 of FB market.

@Kiera what kind of travel systems can the cabriofix attach to?

Any that use maxi cosi adapters xx

Maxi cosi have this travel system for cheap, the infant carrier included is the cabrio fix S which I think is one of the recommended ones for babies x https://www.maxi-cosi.co.uk/pushchairs/zelia-s-trio?color_swatch_id=5505&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADii3rCV-YOP5NZT6KdPbisN3CjYJ&gclid=Cj0KCQjwgrO4BhC2ARIsAKQ7zUnVIsSQRPUAqGn-2DFe62DzJgddfKeYKoYupWRXNcohLCUt2A5xxtkaApxHEALw_wcB

If you get in touch with ‘little bubbas baby shop’ on Facebook she will be able to sort you a deal with a pram and car seat etc xx

I’m pretty sure an infant carrier is a proper car seat? And is one of the safest options for a newborn.
