Hip/leg/pelvis pain

Hi ladies. Im 24 +4 and for the last couple of weeks ive been in pain with my legs hips and believe pelvis. I called the doctor 2 weeks ago and he prescribed me dihydrocodeine, which i have taken when i have been desperate. I also have a pelvic belt which i have worn for shopping walking etc. However the last couple of nights I have been in absolute agony, im not sleeping which isnt helping. I dont feel like i over doing it, but feel i cant do anything other than be at work else I’m in agony. Im struggling to even walk round the house today. Any recommendations? Should i call my doctor or midwife again?

I am an active runner and started getting the same pain at 22 weeks. I couldn’t even move positions on the sofa one evening as it was so painful. I have met with a physio who has given me a few exercises to work on strengthening my glutes/hips/core. They also suggested making sure I am keeping up with my pelvic floor exercises. I’m not running as far as I was but have been able to manage 5km the last 3 days in a row so may be worth looking at a physio?

Ask your midwife to be referred to physio. As soon as possible to prevent it from getting worse.

You can self refer to physio for help. I referred myself on Thursday and waiting on them to get back to me. I don't think I need medication as I'm coping with it for now but I referred to get advice and tips for exercises xx
