I sent off my form ( sure start maternity grant) 23rd September along with his birth certificate - does it normally take this long to hear anything back? Im worried as his birth certificate was sent

I think there 3 weeks behind as I rang them up and they said they was still doing them from the 12th September

I send mine in August got the grant this week in my bank

@Rima how long did it take you as I’ve only got 9 weeks left and was gonna buy the buggy with it but haven’t received it yet

Applied in end of august recieved the money beginning of october was more than 28 days

You have 6 months after birth to apply

I sent off for mine on the 23rd of August and received the money a few days ago

I applied on the 17th September and still haven’t received my money

@Molly Sapsed it was 4 weeks after I sent off for it that I received a text to say they had received my form,I had the money 2 weeks after that. So it took 6 weeks.
