i never really got sickness but the nausea and food aversions were on another level!! i find that chewing gum, peppermint tea helped. cold water or juice. anything that helped my mouth feel fresh all the time. and eating whatever didn’t make me feel sick lmao. also hard to navigate what does and doesn’t when you feel so rubbish all the time. plain and dry foods helped me. but definitely lots of things that helped make my mouth feel fresh 😊

Salty foods and “pickled” or sour foods. The reason women have weird cravings for pickled things when pregnant is because it actually helps with nausea! I went through a sour patch kid/ tangfastic phase 😅 As soon as you have a craving you gotta eat what you fancy because being hungry makes it worse 🫠

Eat small amount of ginger and smell peppermint teabags

Nothing helped me but tablets. Your GP will issue them if you’re struggling that bad. I was given cyclizine initially which didn’t help at all and in the end had Xonvea which is specifically for pregnancy sickness and it was a game changer.

Either tablets from GP or go to hospital and ask for IV anti sickness and some fluids - I had to do this a few times and it helped me for a few days at a time! Xxx

Water melon

Ginger biscuits and staying hydrated with squash really helped me ! X

I would get really bad nausea after taking my medication and then driving in my 1st trimester and ginger biscuits were my life saver!

Thank you everyone!! ❤️ The GP has prescribed me some anti sickness and I am now also living off of ginger nut biscuits 😂😂🙌
