Birthday/Christmas

Ok ladies I need all the help! What are we getting our December babies for their birthday/Christmas? With his birthday being so close to Christmas I want them to be separate but I’m not sure how to divide gifts. We have a couple of “bigger” gifts in mind but not sure what to pick for his birthday then from us and Santa(not sure if we will do Santa yet) Also… how many gifts do you have in mind for each and do you have ideas for stocking stuffers!! This is my first baby and he will be one on Christmas Day so I am hoping to make it memorable and start traditions this year! Sorry for the long post! Thanks in advance for your input!

Honestly a few gifts are best, especially if you have others getting them gifts. With my first she easily was overstimulated and with like 3 presents she was just done and wanted to play. With our now second close to the holidays, I think we will stick with a few gifts and just make a bigger deal about the traditions and festivities at least for now.

We decided each year until he gets old enough we’re going to take him on a vacation for his birthday and then for Christmas he may get a few smaller gifts being his birthday is in the first week n a day of December it’s a bit easier for us to separate his gifts

Here for the comments ! My sons birthday is December 13

@Remi we are planning on starting the vacations for birthdays at his 3rd birthday. With his birthday being the 15th I know it’s going to get jumbled up with the different family Christmas’ that we attend.

@Karlene that’s a good idea! I was thinking one “larger” gift for his birthday and a few smallish gifts for Christmas. Do you have any stocking stuffer ideas? I’m at a loss because I grew up getting candy and small toys in my stocking which isn’t an option for him lol

To be honest I think they will still be too young to understand what's going on. For mine, we're just doing her birthday at a park and having regular Christmas. I don't like a lot of clutter so minimal gifts. Esp at this age, they can't do much yet.
