Morning sickness

I wanna cry. So I’m 12 weeks and I’ve been sick since 4 weeks. I can’t eat anything or I throw it up. I’m able to keep down my prenatal and any drinks but any food is thrown up in under 30 minutes. I’ve tried everything and the doctors are no help.

Literally me right now

I feel ya! I have been taking antinausea around the clock and taking unisom at night to help me sleep through the nausea. I have lost so much weight just cuz I can’t keep anything down and even food doesn’t sound good it suck! I am hoping this is over with soon. I am 15 weeks Hang in there! ❤️❤️

This was me 😩 I’m also 12 weeks, it got so bad that last week I tore my esophagus from the forceful vomiting & ended up in the ER because I was throwing up blood (& scared AF). Vitamin B6 helps a lot, I found that eating carbs every 2 hours or so helps keep the horrible nausea feels away. Starting that early in the day helps beat the bad waves. My doctor has put me on 3 different meds so far; (Teledoc gave me zofran), OBpromethazine & now regal. They help for a bit but don’t last the amount of time they are supposed to, but with my ER trip I am now forced to take them daily. It’s good that you can take the prenatals! Some days I can’t even take them because I feel so sick 😭 just keep trying anything & everything you can & eventually you’ll find something that works, even if it’s temporary. 2 weeks ago I was eating Mac & cheese 3x a day & this week it’s toast & bananas that help the most. They “say” it gets better soon but I’m holding my breath 😂 hope you can find something that helps 🫶

Same 😭 Morning sickness started about 8w and almost 12w now and I’ve lost 15lbs from morning sickness. It wasn’t this bad my first pregnancy or maybe I was just handling it better cause I was working and had no kids to look after unlike now.

Even i had, i lost lot of weight because of this morning sickness, ginger chews really helped me, now im in my 14th week. As weeks pass by, morning sickness will reduce gradually, just hang in there 🥹

This is me. I am currently 16 weeks and this is my third pregnancy with morning sickness like this. I’ve been diagnosed with HG (hyperemesis gravidarum). I’ve had it with all three of my pregnancies. My first one I lost over 10 lbs before the end of the first trimester. And so far with this one it’s been the worst. I was told if you puke three or more times in an hour to go to the er for an iv and possibly something like Iv zophrin. That typically helps me for about a week. Have you talked to your dr about it? With my second it ended around 21 weeks and I think earlier with my first (I don’t remember exactly when)

Long shot and maybe you’ve tried it already but can you keep soup down? Bone broth for extra nutrients too

@Elyssa I’ve sadly never been able to eat soup haha it’s been a weird food for me my whole life.

Eat what you can. I have regularly been taking half unisom (doxylamine) every night or I'm too nauseous to eat. The only thing that gets me through is plain carbs. Toast, Cheerios, rice, and don't forget liquids. Small bites and small sips. Take care!
