You can get omeprezole from your midwife / doctor if its getting too much for you x
Sleep with your upper body elevated on your left side, and have a dose of Gaviscon liquid before bed. I do not recommend any PPIs such as omeprazole etc.
Rennies saved me and sleeping more upright! X
I drink a little bit of milk when heartburn hits 🤷♀️ Also heard that yoghurt works 🤞
Rennies are a life saver, pretty much goes straight away after 2 xx
@Hannah interested to know why you don't recommend omeprezole?
@Sam I will PM you the full story as it’s personal, however, publicly I’ll just say that I’ve tried it and it did not work for me, at the time I was initially prescribed it I was not aware/informed of all the potential negative side effects etc. It can be very helpful to some people, but that said most of those people have lifelong issues, not a temporary bout of reflux caused by pregnancy, therefore I don’t agree with it being prescribed to pregnant women when there are much safer options.
Omprezole!! Life saver in both pregnancies, one tablet and it’s gone 😅
Gaviscon or rennies
