Oh I’m sorry that must be really hard 😢 Are there any exercises that can help or just resting it? Hopefully it’s not too long till you’re healed/ more comfortable and can be more hands on. There are still so many ways you can soothe and comfort her - talking, singing, stroking, cuddling. Could you try using a one sided sling maybe as a way to pick her up?

Bless you It must be so hard..I've had a pinch nerve for 10 years and it still affects me sometimes being a mother

I have a Lennylamb Upgrade.. I will have baby handed to me on couch get help loading up Little then can sit and cuddle Just a suggestion Epsom baths can also help with the swelling

@Jessica oh gosh I didn’t realise it could last that long. I hope my response didn’t sound like I was minimising it. It must be tough.

I remember having a pinched nerve in my neck 6yrs ago. I went for a few massages but they didn’t solve the pinched nerve. What did help was seeing a physio - she solved it in a single session. OP: Have you been to a physio yet? I didn’t realise you could have a pinched nerve for 10 years 🤯 tho I can believe that cuz time didn’t help at all in my case.

You should try to see a pain management doctor if you haven’t already. I had a pinched nerve all throughout pregnancy and like Jessica said it has given me a problem on and off for 10 years. Physical therapy and other pain management interventions can really help! But for now just want to say I understand completely that it’s affecting your parenting because mine has too.
