Spitting out water
Lo used to drink well from straw cup but lately been spitting it out like a fountain and covering herself in water. Anyone else's lo doing this is it a phase? Anything can recommend to discourage as no idea how much water she is actually taking in

I think your right she seems to do it for a reaction as if I look away and just keep one eye on her she seems to stop and drink normally or give up and crawl away 😂
It seems to be her new party trick at moment 😂
Yes we’ve done this for a while! He does it if we offer water and he’s not actually thirsty almost like a game and a sod you I didn’t want any 😂 we just leave the water cup around for him to help himself now and it drastically reduced how much he does it x
Yeeeeppp it’s so annoying isn’t it. I’m hoping it’s just a fun game that will end soon!
Same!!!! She’s like a fish hahaha! I’ve tried ignoring it completely and that seems to be helping a bit!

My daughter spits her water out sometimes too. I think it could either be because, she may have had too much water or, quite possibly it could have caught her throat. Don't act any differently, just act normal & keep offering. If you show panic or concern your baby could pick up on it.
