Period or Implantation Bleeding?

I’m 13dpo, my period is due in 3 days. I just noticed a brownish blood in my underwear. I usually get period symptoms before my period and it’s usually bang on 28 days. How do I know if it’s my period or implantation bleeding? x

Unfortunately the answer is you won’t know until you either get your period, or you get a positive test. Implantation bleeding, although talked about a lot, is actually quite uncommon.

Implantation bleeding is usually pink/light red. Brown blood tends to be old blood or the start of a period xx

You won’t know until you know I’m sorry, mine was very light pink though

I think it’s my period unfortunately. It’s very painful this month and it isn’t light spotting or anything. 🩸
