NHS care review meeting

Hi everyone. I have a care review meeting on Friday regarding the loss of my baby boy and I really don’t know what to expect. Has anyone gone through this? What should I expect to hear/find out? The thought of it is making me quite anxious. Any help would be appreciated 💕

I have no idea but i’m sure it’s just protocol and seeing if you or your partner need any support! I’m so sorry you experienced this, sending love x

I recently had a case review regarding the loss of my daughter. They went through all aspects of my care and if anything else could have been done to prevent the death of my baby. There were different people in the meeting , neonatal consultant who cared for my baby girl and also a pre natal consultant who was there to discuss future pregnancies and what they could offer for me. They asked us if we had any questions , I made sure to write a few things down that had been playing on my mind so that I could ask any questions we had. Xx

I recently had this meeting with the consultant who was in charge of the care of my boy when he passed, it’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have in regards to your littles one passing, they also just chatted with me to see how I was doing in regards to everything, and we spent a lot of time talking about my little boy I was very anxious about my meeting too! Try not to stress I know that’s easier said than done and I hope the meeting goes well and hopefully it answers any questions you have around your boys passing if you have any! X

We have ours next week and have received a letter detailing his care prior to this. We were told it's an opportunity to ask questions and can use the letter to formulate any we may have before we go.
