Cattows Farm - Halloween Farm is the best, we love it! It can be done on cheap if you just get Entry tickets without the extra additional attractions. If you looking for others then The Windmill Farm is lovely too, definitely much smaller and less busy, also has lovely play space for baby/toddler/children inside 😀

@Kamila my little girl is 4 months, is cattows really busy? We just want the pumpkin patch part tbh I just don’t wanna to get her super overstimulated!

Also it is a bit of a drive, bit there is a lovely garden centre in Swadlincote that has atmnpumpkin woodland walk with lots of photo props and pumpkin pick opportunity if you want to buy some and also have on site massive soft play, role play rooms and amazing garden centre shop and restaurant, food and drinks are soooo good! It's called the garden king, it's about an hour drive from Leicester but omg so worth it!! It was such great day out! My little girl loved it!

I hated Cattows, it's so loud. Broomleys farm near Coalville has one, it's a lot smaller but you get a little tractor ride in with the ticket price

@Chloe really? I didn't notice it being overly loud or uncomfortable and I'm autistic/adhd so overly loud places can make me feel uncomfortable and overwhelmed and i absolutelylove cattows farm, but maybe we have different tolerance.

@Francheska it's crazy loud there, I took my 2 month old last year and regretted it. It's geared more towards older kids, you had to walk through a giant funfair to even get to the pumpkin patch on a narrow walkway with so much mud

@Francheska pumpkin patch bit is right near the entrance so if you don't wanna go into fun fair and live music bit and things inside you don't have to venture in, you can just buy Entry to the farm itself and then go pumpkin field straight in :) there are quite few other fields that are just pumpkin fields abd that's it without attractions but I personally love the bigger thing, last year we went when my little one was a baby and she lived watching fun fair lights and rides. This year she lived it too, she didn't ride on any but she loved watching them. She also loved the live music singer and the walk with dinos and spooky train ride thing but those are paid extra that can make tickets quite pricey, but your little one goes in free if she is under 1 year old x

Poplars farm in nuneaton, have a look on there Facebook page ☺️

We went to Kirkby pumpkin patch yesterday, and it was perfect. Big enough, with plenty of cute photo ops, free to get in, free to park, free wheelbarrows, just pay for your pumpkins, and extra for things like the corn maize or rides etc. Spent £20 on 4 massive pumpkins and that was it, whereas we paid £10 just to get in and park at cattows last year, then everything else is extra on top. We did cattows last year for my LGs first Halloween and honestly we won’t be going back. It’s over commercialised and for such a young baby a little local one will be much nicer and less stressful for you!

I haven’t been yet but going to try wymsworld farm- Smaller one free to park and no entry fee. Tractor ride on weekends too and just pay for pumpkins!

I’ve heard great things about Poplars farm so taking my little one there this year and it has tractor rides which I think she’ll love!!! I’ve been to Cattows and personally find it ridiculously priced, the prices to get in are ridiculous let alone how much they overcharge for the pumpkins!! To me it’s just all about money and I wouldn’t go again x

@Charlotte ohh that sounds perfect!! I’ll have a look. Thankyou!

So we went to Windmill Farm park in Kibworth Harcourt the other day, for the animals and I can’t comment on the pumpkin patch because we didn’t do that part but saw they have all the Halloween / pumpkin patch stuff - that’s a much smaller one, they were so friendly and wasn’t busy at all so might be good to try!
