You need to call 999 if you think your lo is showing signs of sepsis. Not asking on here

Agreed with comment above. This isn’t something that should be posted and waiting for a reply as it’s very serious. Ring 999

@Charley I’m in hospital waiting for the results so wanted to know other little ones symptoms who’s had it that’s all

Sepsis can present so differently but often is associated with symptoms of a virus so high fever, feeling very hot to touch but may be shivering/shaking, an unusual rash that doesn’t go away when you roll a clear glass over it, less wet and dirty nappies, not feeding as they normally would, being more limp/drowsy/sleepy. Glad you’re in a safe place and getting seen - hope baby is okay!

NHS website….

@Jules thank you so much! I did have a Google but this app is so useful I wanted to know others symptoms. You’ve been really helpful 🙏🏻 he’s got most of them but I hope not 😭 x

The only thing I couldn’t find much research on and is indicating he doesn’t have sepsis is that he’s been unwell for over 3 weeks now. He’s just got progressively worse! Can sepsis last that long as I thought it was quick? He’s not been that unwell before now to come to hospital till the other night so don’t come for me haha x
