Hurts to walk

I’m unsure if this is normal but i’m my 3rd trimester and anytime I walk for more than 5 minutes it feels like a heavy bearing on my lower stomach. There’s a big pressure in my stomach and weirdly almost feels like the baby is getting ready to come out. The pressure only subsides when I sit down. I’m only 31 weeks so not near the end but it’s slowly getting to the point I cannot walk anywhere and I literally feel housebound. Really unsure if this is normal or not ?

I have this - it’s pelvic girdle pain. You can self-refer to a physio at your hospital but honestly, the things I’ve found to work are warm baths every night / morning, sitting on an exercise ball (takes the pressure off) walking for just 20-30 minutes intentionally so I don’t get stiff & my partner also massages my lower back / glutes / hips because when those are tight, the pain is worse! I hope this helps! I so understand - it’s awful!

There’s also some really good pelvic girdle pain yoga on YouTube

Thanks @Lauren I’ll definitely check this out

Yep Iv had this since 20 weeks along with sciatica. Pelvic girdle has been so bad some days I honestly can hardly move. Other days it’s ok. Had physio and have excercises and belts etc but nothing will fix it until baby’s out I’m afraid

Me too i also feel like she's going break my waters any day now she kicks so hard

I have this every single time I walk anywhere! It's so uncomfortable 😣 loads of pressure as if he's about to pop out lol. I had PGP with my second towards the end and I think I may have it again it's just not as severe yet. As above definitely look into yoga to ease the pain it really helps xx

Yes me too, walking is so painful
