Anybody else’s 3 year old super dramatic??
is anybody else’s 3 year old making everything a big deal?? constantly starting sentences with “oh no!! Mommy!!” i’ve developed enough anxiety and now my throat hurts from screaming at her to stop being so dramatic and to only worry about herself. i hate how she’s constantly worrying about what her brothers (ages 1 & 4 months) are constantly doing “mommy, he spit his juice, Oh no!!” “mommy where is my brother!? oh no he’s missing?” and he’s literally sitting right next to her trying to take a toy out of her hand.
This is very normal! Kids are dramatic. I would just reflect back and say something like “ Aw sweetie I can see you’re really worried about baby bro, but that’s my job. I got it, you can go play” And don’t scream, it creates a stress response in children.
