Did our little boys before he was born, he only went in when he was 1… so this time I’m not rushing probably gonna do it when she’s 5/6 months
Around 35 weeks i was when we started it last time and i used to love going and sitting in there and getting excited to meet her 💕x this time around they will be sharing eventually so nursery to do as such 😬xx
We did our first’s room when i was about 6 months pregnant and he never slept a night in there before we moved house when he was 2 and a half years old😂 we’re getting the room ready now for this baby as it’s currently my partner’s office which we’re moving to the garage so it’s a bit of a job and we won’t want to be doing it once the baby’s here, but we’re in no rush to decorate it at the moment! X
With our first I was due in the September & we had the nursery done in the March but he’s now 2 & has never slept in his own room. It’s entirely up to you, it’s lovely to see it done & have a proper place for their clothes etc I think we were really keen. This time we are going to be moving before they are born so I’m not sure what the plan is yet.
We had it done in the August for our December baby and he started sleeping in there at three months old. I was glad it was done so he could transition as soon as we were ready. This time our son is moving into the bigger bedroom and I'm going to decorate that for him whilst on maternity leave and the baby will move into the nursery ☺️
I wouldn't stress about this too much tbh. My youngest is 16 months and has never slept in his own room. I know most kids are in their room sooner but generally it's at least 6-12 months in your room. So I really wouldn't worry about rushing it!
