yes, we’ve washed all our baby clothes, muslins, bedding etc, all which were new as you never know where they’ve been before, and what’s been on them

Yes I wash all new baby clothing before it goes on my baby. Never know where they've been before.

Yes, have washed everything with fabric. I wouldn’t normally wash new stuff for myself but you just never know what it’s been in contact with before and for a newborn to touch against their delicate skin and possibly but in their mouths it’s not worth risking IMO.

Thank you, I will start to wash the first stuff & 0-3 bits tomorrow 😊.

I’ve not washed anything new but all the stuff i had stored away i have

I've worked in retail... Trust me, you want to wash everything you've bought! They are not clean when you get them

Washing and ironing everything. Won’t be ironing after babe is here

Yeah I will wash everything for baby and still do for my 19 month old too x

What have people been washing their baby bits in? As in which detergent ?

@Alicia Fairy non bio x

I’ve washed all my newborn and 0-3 bits, and all sheets, muslins, towels etc. using fairy non bio pods xx

Thank you everyone wash lots of stuff last night, just have 1 load left to do tomorrow

My question is is it safe to dry any baby stuff in the tumble dryer?? I feel like my washing takes days to dry an don't want baby stuff to start to smell

probably double check what stuff can be tumble dried, i did a gentle cycle for our bedding, towels, muslins, bins and baby grows and then air dried the other bits that i worried might shrink/ get damaged
