I'm looking too, I looked around john lewis and the joie I spin and cybex looked comfortable but only go up to 4 years. I think the silver cross goes up to 12 years.

You should join the ERF Facebook group. Don’t go by age limits go by ERF safety /swedish plus tested. My little girl is almost outgrown her infant carrier and will be getting an ERF next around Christmas time x
There's a group on fb called "car seat safety uk", you can provide then with your LOs height/weight, your car and budget and they'll provide with recommendations. Like the other ladies have said, Swedish plus tested and ERF are best. We were torn between the max safe pro and be safe stretch. We went for the latter as it just gave us a little more room for the front passenger and my LB fit in it better 😊 x
We got the axkid mini kid it’s and extended rear facing one and after tons of looking debating decided on that and it was on offer! Has been easy to install and is super comfy :-)
