@Courtney I’ve tried them, but I really don’t like them at the moment.
5+ is only more absorbant it shouldn't be any larger size wise as such. I literally ignore the weight limit and go for whatever size nappy keeps everything held in, if it's leaving marks or leaking constantly it's time to size up. Some brands run smaller than others, Pampers I find very generously sized my 21 month old is in size 6
Nappies are like clothing brands unfortunately all sizes run a bit different! My LO uses Fred and flow and moved out of the weight recommendation way too early for sizes 0-3 She’s 4 months in 3s atm and I feel like she’ll be in 4 next month 😅
The weight limit is only a guide- something for mums to refer to as is everything else baby related but you don’t have to stick so religiously to it. Size up whenever you feel you need to. Every baby’s proportionates and pee capacities are different. Personally for me I used cloth and the same diaper fit him at 2m and 2y3m when we trained - being OSFM they fit from 3-18kg so we never “sized up” we just adjusted the snaps on the front to a bigger setting each time he needed to size up.
That’s nuts! My 3 year old is in size 5 😂
@Jordan I know! But if he wears a smaller size they either don’t do up, leave red marks, are skin tight like he’s wearing speedos, or leak terribly 🙈 Got to admit…I’m slightly concerned about him still needing nappies and having to wear the overnight pants for older children because he’s outgrown nappies 🤪
Have you considered pull ups? They’re more stretchy 😊
