Short cervix advice

Hey ladies. I'm 19+2 and I had my anatomy scan yesterday. Baby boy was very active and the tech measured most things. She is concerned that my cervix is shorter than what it's supposed to be and it's funneling. I have to go back next week to check length again. Anyone had this happen? This was in my notes from yesterday's visit.

Your cervix measurement at 19 weeks is not a concern. The only time it is a concern if it is at 25 weeks. However your cervix expands overtime as you get closer to labor.

Iv had an incompetent “short cervix” in 5/6 pregnancies. 3.6 isn’t really terribly short yet. My cervix is that length WITH a cervical cerclage , which I have to get every pregnancy to keep my cervix from shortening too soon. Without the cervlage I’m at like a 2.5 at 20 weeks. They will probably either offer you a moderate bed rest option with wait n see. Or maybe a rescue cerclage. But they would have to do that soon if they do that. Progesterone supplements can also help with the cervix. The funneling maybe more an issue bc that I haven’t had just the shortening.

They told me in September my cervix was 3cm but no funneling. My report says cervix is long so I’m not sure what’s long or short.

I’m having similar problems my cervix is measuring at 2.6 . Doctor said I have to go back in 2 weeks to make sure I’m not measuring at a higher amount . I can keep you updated .

I just had my anatomy scan on Thursday and mine measured at a 2.4. They’re having me come back this coming week to remeasure, I don’t know what happens after that, but I am stressed!
