We dump the water over her head and immediately use a towel to dry her face. We taught her to say towel. So now she can tell us to dry her face.

I just tell my toddler to look for the moon so she looks up when I rinse her hair

I use a rag, add the soap, lather her hair then use the wet rag to wipe the soap off. I do this a few times and the soap is all out.

Also, we have a little bath mirror she uses when time for hair washing. I make bubbles in her hair and funny hair styles, she loves it. Then I distract her with her bath toys and use the rag to wipe the soap off and then the rash to rinse it out

we have a detachable head. my daughter is easy and just puts her head up and lets me rinse. but my son i have to basically wrestle to get his hair rinsed. he’s getting better though lol

My husband just tells him to put his head up and dumps the water on his head. He hated it at first but got used to it after like 5 times. Now he just laughs about it 😂

The Lovevery book Bedtime for Zoe has a bathtime scene in it where the little girl gets soap in her eyes - it helped my daughter talk through nervousness about bathtime (oops, she got water in her eyes, she didn’t like that feeling, washcloth dries her face, look up now! All better, etc)
