Anterior placenta

Was told this at 16 weeks during my private gender scan. Is it possible for this to move!?

Not now, I don't think. Mine has been anterior for previous and this one, nothing to worry about x

Not very likely to move, I had an anterior placenta with my first 🙂 My midwife was never concerned and said it's completely normal x

Thank you both. Can you describe the feelings you felt with yours? I'm 19 weeks on Monday and I keep feeling like there's something rolling/swishing near my bladder and I don't want to get my hopes up that it's baby x

Could definitely be baby you're feeling! I could feel baby from about 21 weeks but only if I was laying on my back or side, if felt like rolling/fluttering. I started to feel more regular movements around 28 ish weeks I think? It's obviously different for everyone though! X

It won’t move front to back for example but most anterior move up as baby grows and expands!

Thank you ladies 😊 makes me feel much better knowing it's baby I'm feeling and nothing weird happening with my body. It's not very often and it's only when I'm leaning back relaxing on the sofa or a chair and not doing anything

I have an anterior placenta, I'm 20 weeks and have only felt butterflies and little pops. When I asked at my 20 week scan she said I'll be able to feel more movement between 23 & 24 weeks x

My first started like bubbles popping before turning into more recognisable movements. Nothing in this pregnancy yet. X

Its a 50/50 chance the placenta will attach to the back of front, its not problem at all it might just pad the kicks so you cant feel them as intensly! I have a anteria placenta last year with my son and again this time! For me personally i didnt feel kicks until 24 weeks with my first, i could feel kicks after but they never reached a point where people would say it was keeping them up at night, he was rather quiet 🤣 This time im nearly 20 weeks and im defo feeling something already!xx

I had an anterior placenta with my previous and current pregnancy. There are no concerns with this.

Iv felt baby from 16 weeks wishy feelings and wriggles and have same placement with placenta as I did last pregnancy too
