Should I get some chocolate?

Chronic comfort eater here. Should I get a chocolate bar? I'm not hungry. I eat it every day. Just want a happy feeling. And chocolate is the best substitute I've got right now.

Hey if you’re active and healthy and it’s not like a binge eating disorder then go ahead and enjoy your small comfort moments with chocolate :) I can relate lol especially pregnant, I give in to almost all my cravings

I had this issue with mini rolls.. so chocolate AND cake! Especially after discovering the raspberry ones🤦🏽‍♀️ I decided to substitute the chocolate for chocolate cereals or a organic bar that has way less ingredients and calories as a result.. and the cake I haven’t found a substitute for yet so I just limit the amount of times I’ll buy and eat cake.. I’m never getting enough sleep so I think my body is looking for quick energy

I'm having a hot chocolate so I guess I gave in

Literally me especially pregnant I wanted chocolate cake everyday. Now that I’m breastfeeding I still crave sweets a lot

I’m a compulsive overeater especially since I gave birth… idk why… probably pp depression and stuff so I know the struggle

You do not need to feel guilty about a small treat, but if you would like to change this habit then work on it. It takes a few weeks to change the habit - you’ll keep craving it and need to stay strong, and over time the craving will decrease. Hang in there, distract yourself with water, fruit and fun activities

Dark chocolate is scientifically proven to improve moods

@Tristan at least dark chocolate is better for you with less sugar and sometimes additives… it just tastes too bitter for my liking🤦🏽‍♀️
