Struggling

It has been so difficult recently, I got a 3 year old with learning disability which has been really hard recently he’s been really mean to his youngest sister, taking toys from her, hitting her, hitting me, getting angry, taking him out is such a challenge. We got so many professionals in his life right now trying to help him. On top of that my daughter is teething and cries the second I leave the room, my partner had an accident at work a couple of weeks ago meaning he is unable to use one of his hand so he’s unable to help as much plus he still is at work all day every day. I love my children so so so much but damn it can be so hard sometimes Sorry needed a rant 😓

Show your support

Hi, I just wanted to jump on this thread to let you know that I have found things really tough too. My little boy is so fussy and has had a bad temper since about 3 days old! He is also developmentally delayed in some areas and I suspect he will end up having a diagnosis at a later stage. You aren't on your own with finding things tough. I hope things get easier for you soon and definitely reach out to a health visitor for support. I was referred to a post natal mental health team and it really helped me. Feel free to message me if you want ❤️

@Lauren thank you for your comment, it can be really tough! He’s a good kid just has his difficulties which results in him not being able to control his emotions! The health visitor is currently involved as well as therapy for him, sometimes when he misbehaves and has a bad temper it can make you feel really alone and that you have the only chills in the world that is naughty at times x

My oldest is 2.5. He doesn't have any issues (that we know of) but will sometimes hit me, snatch from my 10 month old and try and push her over when she is sitting. It is really hard and I think most kids go through trying to control their emotions before it happens. Sending love x
