When to use the bouncy ball?

This is my second pregnancy but I’ve completely forgotten when’s the best time to start bouncing on the ball? I haven’t blown mine up yet but wondering if I should or is it too early.. And does it help with pelvic pain?

I’m using mine now, I’m 22 weeks tomorrow and my pelvic pain is becoming really uncomfortable. Used the ball today and it did help.

@Catherine I’m almost 22 weeks to so this is super helpful! Thank you for your answer. I’m going to blow it up in the next few days because this pelvic pain second time around is so painful! I don’t remember this with my first until the end of pregnancy😭

I thought the bouncy ball is for closer to labour 😕

There are exercises you can do with the ball during any trimester so can start anytime and some use it in place of a hard chair or desk chair when wfh as can be more comfy. I think it depends on your body & bump size as to when you’d want to use more. I really only used mine in the third trimester and then just bounced on it in the evenings from about 38 weeks. I also used the hospital one during labour.

I heard you’re not supposed to use it until closer to the end but 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

I’d use it from now. I found it really helpful in my first pregnancy with all the aches and pains. There’s no reason to wait until further along. I lost mine so I really need to get a move on with buying a new one as my body is struggling a lot more this second time around.
