Go to a chiropractor and then do some stretching and physical therapy
The only thing that gives me slight relief is a belly band. Other than that, nothing unfortunately 😢 you can ask for physio or pain killers as well x
It also helped me to soak in a warm (not hot) bath with Epsom salt and apple cider vinegar
I take hot baths and that’s about the only thing that helps but it’s hard to get a relaxing bath in nowadays. I’m in the exact same boat though, so don’t feel too alone! Currently 36 weeks with a 14 month old and i think I’ve cried about every single day this past week, im in so much pain 🥲 I wear a belly band and the dr suggested some exercises to do but HELLO?? they hurt 😭😭 im just taking it day by day at this point and crying when i need to.
thankyou all:)
@Kass thankyou:) my LO is nearly 2 and he’s rouge so it’s hard to say the least but i had a check on NHS website and it says to exercise but don’t do anything that causes the pain, i asked a midwife before too if i could take anything for it and she said because it’s the kinda thing that hurts when your moving, painkillers wouldn’t even do anything so it’s useless, i absolutely love pregnancy and adored it with my first but this time round seems so much worse and obvs i don’t think chasing a feral toddler around helps either, it’s just absolute agony to do anything, counting down the days to get this little guy outta me😅
Also when you move around like getting in and out of the car try to move both legs at the same time
Birthing ball helps, warm baths or a heating pad, but there are safe and simple yoga stretches you can do that I find make a huge difference. If you just google search pelvic girdle stretches third trimester you’ll find them. I’ve found all of them combined helps (ball, warm shower, heating pad, light walk, stretching) I try to do them every other day and it makes a difference. I’m 38 weeks tomorrow. Good luck, you got this! Almost there
Birthing ball really helped me when I had time to use it
