Pcos here. Just listening to my body and resting as much as needed. Finding it quite difficult and every cramp or so sends me into an anxiety attack 😂 I’ve been speaking to my pcos coaches though and they’ve helped me mentally massively as this is my first time pregnant!
@Amy Yh my pains and cramps have raised my anxiety x10 x
Endo, adenomysis, tumours, fibroids… 7 weeks pregnant. The cramps were so bad I take codeine at night so I can at least get some sleep. Evening is worse and I’m guessing it’s to do with the bowels…
Pcos here, super super anxious and having alot of panic attacks 🥲
@Ru Ah. So sorry hun. We’ll get through this x
@Abi Honestly! So scary x
Endo here, had my surgery back in May and currently 6 weeks pregnant! Not experiencing any bad pain at the moment. Some cramps and a lot of nausea!! How are your symptoms? X
@Tamara Cramps and abdominal pain mainly I had some nausea week 5 but seems to have died down a bit x
I’m 6 weeks tomorrow and even though it’s early I decided to get a pregnancy ball, whenever I’m having the intense pains Iv been getting I will just kinda roll my hips in a circle while on the ball and this has eased some of the pain for me hope this helps
@Summer Oh wow! I’ll look into this thank you x
Hey an update.. I’m am so glad to say that since the last message the pain has reduced a lot. Hardly need to take the codeine at night. Endo during period is the uterine lining shedding and things moving inside. Same with early trimester cramping.. the baby is burying deep. Hence the pain.: but for me this week pain has subsided considerably.. hope it stays that way.
@Ru Aw that’s great news! I defo need to invest in codeine as my pains are quite bad , I’m glad your getting some relief x
@Larissa please make sure you speak to the doctor. I’ve been told codeine in early pregnancy is not too bad but later on can be extremely harmful to the baby. It cAn affect their breathing. Speak to a doctor or midwife first. It helped so much over the weeks especially at night but luckily it’s been almost a week and because the pain isn’t as severe I haven’t needed to take it. Just riding the slight pain and my pain threshold is quite high.
So basically the pain does subside… just keep tabs on what foods make it worse because for me the sluggish digestion affects my inflamed bowel ( from the endo)..
