Leg issues!

I'm suffering with restless legs, leg cramps at night, achey legs in day and a big varicose vein which can be painful and has just started itching. Anyone else suffering with these things? Any remedies? I'm nearly 30 weeks. Thank you x

Try looking up leg stretches/yoga/exercises/postures, physiotherapy really helped me a lot with these things. I suffer from restless legs at night so I got a night butter from Boots which contains Magnesium which has been helping me sleep more soundly so far. Try some light massages too, don't want any heavy pressure at the tops of your legs, but try lightly massaging your legs with a moisturiser or body oil or lotion and hopefully this will help your varicose veins xx

I had really bad restless legs for a good 10 weeks and tried everything!! Magnesium supplements helped a little but not a lot but turned out I had very low iron. Since taking supplements i haven't had any problems.

Usually the midwife will ask about varicose veins on my appointments if I have any, so please make sure you make your midwife aware you have developed one especially if itchy as varicose veins can bleed during labour despite them having low blood flow through them xx

I had my first leg cramp in this pregnancy the other night and I do not miss them. Waking up in so much pain for simply moving is awful. I've also got up to grt a drink last night and hurt my foot. I could understand if I fell or tripped but no I was simply walking to another room 😂

I also had horrible restless leg would keep me up all night. I take 250mg magnesium 2x/day and also found out I was iron deficient so not on vitronC which has helped a lot. Still get it if I’m in car for long periods of time or sometimes randomly, leg massage can help, but also make it contract in the moment and be uncomfortable. Epsom Salt baths sometimes help Me a bit too
