Wrap around care costs
Hi everyone, can anyone share the rough cost of what they pay for before and after school care please? We are trying to work out whether childcare would be affordable if we had a second. Currently paying around £1350 per month just now for full time nursery for our boy. When he starts school we would need breakfast club, after school club and a childminder for after school club to keep him until around 6pm and would need this 5 days per week. Is it likely to cost the same as what we’re paying just now? We would have the full time nursery fees for a new baby as well so just trying to work out if we can realistically have a second in the next year or two. Thanks xx

@Chelsea I think possibly it would be helpful just having a chat around. I would be limited to the amount of kids being a home provider. Im hoping that it would pay to support my life and my kids as first time mum to my newborn too. Perhaps work really well hand in hand. Still a lot of research to do x

F! I'm considering setting up personally but if I did, I'd be most likely looking at trying to keep it low as possible to do breakfast, drop off and pick up most likely with dinner. Been thinking perhaps 10-20 a day including food etc. Think it would most likely depend on the cost of fuel, and distance. Any extra dietary needs and so on. Not sure on what thoughts are really on that. I've still got to look into it x
