Vomiting - urgent help pls

My baby is 5 mo and we have started combo feeding at 4 months. He has been having aptamil advanced and first it was fine. He didn’t reject it and he didn’t spit it up. But for the last week or so he’s been throwing up when we feed him formula, he’s had a rash all over his belly and arms and his poo smells really fishy. (Dunno if this is all related) I’m so on edge of what this is and what to do. I am going away for 3 months in 2 days and I already stocked up on formula😅 if he’s really allergic or something how do I even know what formula to give and how to guarantee if it doesnt cause the same?? This is so last minute I didn’t think this would even be a problem

With the rash it does sound like an allergy! But not sure if it’s lactose or a cow protein allergy, I know comfort milks have broken down cows protein which helps stomach but if its lactose then you need lactose free milk😢

Baby is allergic to that specific formula. Take your baby to the doctor or child health nurse and get a recommendation on which formula to use. Not all formulas will mesh well with your baby .

Hey. My son has a milk allergy and many others. You will need to get prescription milk (win as it’s free) but you may have to try and few. Good luck. Happy to answer anymore questions you have as I’ve been through it all and still am. He is 2 now

Thanks for the answers! Problem is I’m going away for a few months on Monday so I can’t really get prescription milk 😅 and when I’m back in the uk he’ll almost be 8 months already! Today he didn’t vomit after formula so I’m not sure anymore if it’s an allergy or if he’s just drinking too much at once
