Staying Connected w/ Your S/O

I really miss going to bed at the same time as my husband 🥺 He sleeps all night so he can work and provide for us, but I just wanna cuddle for the hour of sleep I have before I feed our baby again. I also feel like (even though he works remotely) I see him all the time, but that we're distant from each other, and that makes me so sad. 😢 How do you and your S/O stay connected?

My sentiments exactly!! This has been more difficult for me than the lack of sleep. Would love to hear how other moms are navigating through this season.

I really miss our chilled evenings together and cooking dinner together 😔

I miss us so much too glad to know I’m not the only one alone. I wish I had someone just to text or talk too when I’m alone at night. I also feel like we fight so much more now and it sucks I feel so alone like we are in different places in the same room🥲. Any advice

I also miss my husband ! He’s off for the first month. Our son is 2 weeks old. I miss our chill evenings and cooking together. He’s going back to work in 2 weeks and I’m worried that how in the world I’m going do it. We both have lack of sleep right now that’s for sure lol

My husband and I do the same things but with the baby now. When she's sleeping, we sit on the couch to talk and hang out. We've been out to eat while my daughter watched the baby. We picked a restaurant very close by and didn't stay too long.

Communication. I was feeling overwhelmingly sad about the same thing for the whole first week post partum but then I opened up about it to my husband and he has made more of an effort to stay connected. We hold hands in the car, we cuddle up together with the baby when we can, we plan on finding a babysitter soon so we can go on a date night, he often reassures me that, we as spouses, come before our kids and that makes me feel secure in our relationship.

My husband works night and sleeps most of the day. It's very hard to find time to hang out and just be together.
