Bed times and transitioning to a toddler bed

Im thinking about a floor bed but her room has a sliding wardrobe n her change table etc worried she will get into things
My daughters room has that too, but during the night she's not interested at all 🤷♀️ I just make sure the floor is always cleared and nothing unsafe around.
I dont trust my lil munchkin shes always getting into things lol might need to wait a bit longer. Also bed time varies between 630-8pm just depends on the day
Bedtime 7-7.30 and will be staying in a cot until around 3yo
6:30/7pm and I was going to but I have number two due any minute and figure it’s probably easier to keep him in the cot for now. I did clear out everything and move his furniture around to make sure it wouldn’t fall. Also baby proofing everything because he can open his door. I made sure he couldn’t get into bathrooms etc
Bub turned 17mo today and goes to bed around 7-8pm. He's been using a floor bed since about 10mo
Where are you guys getting the floor beds from?
I looked around for so long, ended up getting the luther bed from fantastic furniture
What size floor bed has everyone gone with? We bed share but thinking of trying to transition him to his own room at some stage and wondering if I get a king single or Queen so we can be more comfortable if we’re in there with him…
@Danielle one of my friends in the same boat just moved her 18mo to a single sized floor bed, literally two nights ago. Both nights she slept all night in her bed in her room and was very pleased with herself 🥰
@Laura got the frame from Temple n Webster (Living Fusion Yumi Pine Wood), wanted a Sleepy Monkey one but at the time it was pre-order only and would've taken 6mo to arrive. As for the mattress we got the EcoKids, would recommend this one 👌 it's so comfy and you can co-sleep with your bub on it too @Danielle we got the single, it's doable but wished that we got the single king instead cos it does get squishy when I co-sleep with my son, especially cos he moves a lot in his sleep. And as I said above, I'd recommend the EcoKids if you're shopping around for one!
My 16 month old goes to bed at 6.30/7pm. We transitioned her to a floor bed just before 16 months and she loves her bed now. It was honestly the best thing for her.
