Braxton Hicks

Is there ever a time where you should go get checked out for BH? This is my 2nd pregnancy, but I never had BH with my 1st. I know these aren’t true contractions, but my BH just seem like they are happening more.

If they are getting stronger and closer together then I’d get checked. Always just go with your gut.

Yes. If you notice that you’re having them frequently for a while and that at home remedies aren’t making them go away.

I’m experiencing the same thing! So weird after having none at all for my first baby

With my first baby. I went in to the ER when I was 35 weeks. They weren’t painful and they didn’t feel strong at all. But I noticed that they were very consistent. I was getting them about every 3-5 mins. Once I got checked in the ER. I was 2cm dilated, effaced, baby was head down, and I was in the beginning stages of labor. I ended staying for a couple of days while they try to stop my labor from progressing any further.

Same. I barely felt anything with my first. This time around it has sometimes been a hour or two of me needing to.breathe through them. I'll start timing and then they'll stop
