I had no complications in birth this time and I feel like I’m fine in everyday with pain (2 weeks PP) but I still ache if I walk too much or overdo it. I miss being pregnant 🫣

3 weeks pp. no more pain but stomach still feels very squidgy and abit saggy is this normal?

My body feels 100% back to normal. Except I have night sweats!! Driving me nuts cos my hair dye stains my pillows 🤣😭 I’m 4weeks PP but felt back to normal at 2weeks PP. I was missing being pregnant about 1-2 weeks ago just because I didn’t wanna share my baby with anyone and felt super overprotective lol

I’m 4 weeks pp after a c section. Feel like I’m getting there. Able to get out and about more with less pain each day. Belly is going down well and feeling the weight leave. I do not miss pregnancy as I was huge and have a toddler. I can play with him without feeling unable to move which is such a good feeling. X

@Sera Kay Im nearly 3w PP and I feel the exaaact same!! X

I am 2 weeks pp on Sunday. Mentally feel great, physically still sore (stitches) but loving not being pregnant.’can actually play with my toddler without feeling restricted

I was in hospital the first two weeks postpartum for myself and then my baby (recover was rough, the first week I slept for less than 15hours that whole week). It’s gotten a lot better since I’ve been at home, I’m under my pre-pregnancy weight now and post c-section site can still be sore. I think I prefer pregnancy than postpartum.

5 weeks pp and no pain, feeling ok, but still spotting on and off, and still have an extra 20 lbs of baby weight on me 😣

I’m nearly 5 weeks PP, stitches have healed I think but I feel sore sometimes internally when trying to wee/poo or by the end of the day. Mentally I’m struggling! I hated being pregnant but I do kind of miss it now and feel sad I’m not 😣 I think cos finding it so hard with LO I want him to be back inside my tummy all safe x

@Aimee I was so sleep deprived this morning for the first time and my partner took our baby to visit his mum and dad so I could have a sleep and I was so annoyed about it 🤣 what’s wrong with me

I’m 2 weeks PP and I’m feeling good lost all the baby belly apart from a little bit of kangaroo pouch. Night time I struggle a bit as baby girl sleeps during the day and more alert at night just like she was when I was pregnant with her. I do miss being pregnant as baby girl was my last pregnancy my pregnancy incubator is officially retired xxx

@Sera Kay honestly !! When my partner goes fully hands on and I’m like oh do you want me to change her and I get told no. I’m like oh… sulking 🤣🤣

4w pp and Feeling a bit more like myself mentally as we have a little routine going and I’m getting a good 4/5 hours broken sleep which helps. My body isn’t quite there yet. The apron belly I was left with is reducing day by day but I still can feel where my uterus protrudes and is swollen still. I’m now only taking painkillers sporadically. But some things are still making me sore. Still bleeding on and off. Back ache a lot - I think a combo of epidural and sitting still a lot. I’m driving again after speaking to my insurers and that is helping me get out. Deffo miss being pregnant even tho I HATED it at the time. I miss stroking my tummy. Managing to get up and down off the floor with baby now which feels like a win. Just would like some more energy now.

I’m 3 weeks PP and the stitches have healed but still feeling sore internally/externally - manageable with some pain killers to start the day!

2 weeks PP (just over), induced after two weeks past due date and ended up with emergency c-section. Had to spend 3 days in hospital because of kidney damage from my huge baby that no one expected 😂 A lot less emotional than I expected. Stomach feels smaller than it was pre-pregnancy but it’s probably just from getting used to having a pregnancy bump 😅 night sweats are something I wasn’t expecting but I’m glad to have no heartburn and be able to stretch my legs and sleep on my stomach 🙌🏻 My partners doing the bulk of the work with changing and housework so I’ve been able to rest and focus on breastfeeding/cuddles. Felt a little bit like handmaids tale at one point, just bringing baby up to me for feeds 😂 Stitches have healed well and I’m starting to get out the house for longer walks, although my back still feels weak so still getting backache easily. Definitely need to process the birth trauma at some point but for now, just enjoying my partner being off work with us.

I'm 4 weeks pp from a c-section and feeling 95% back to normal. Still have a few slight twinges in my scar from time to time but other than that I feel fine. My jeans are still a way off fitting and my fitness is not what it used to be but I'm not putting any pressure on myself to rush those things, I'm sure it will come in time.

I’m three weeks pp and my body looks like a sack of spuds but I’m still happier than I was when I was pregnant 😂

I’m having bad pelvic pain linked to my pelvic floor especially when I go to the bathroom. It’s like my clitoris is aching and might fall off kinda ache 😩. Midwife said to do pelvic floor exercises and hope it gets better. Anyone else in this boat or just me?

@Megan this was me around week 2. I managed the pain with 2 paracetamol and 1 ibuprofen in the morning to take the edge off and as much rest of the sofa as you can get. I could usually get through the day like that until the evening where I would then take 2 ibuprofen. I’ve now dropped the evening painkillers so feel it’s getting better little by little!

I’m 4 weeks PP after emergency c section and can walk a fair distance now and can spend most of the day up and about but do feel tired in the evening! As some other hve said my belly is still round and I look about 3 months pregnant. Hoping it isn’t like this permanently now 🥹

@Kim I’m in a similar position! Though my belly is full of stretch marks! Wondering if they’ll ever go 🤔

3.5 weeks PP and i feel pretty much back to normal except my lower back pain. my belly has gone down completely but it’s still quite wobbly and my stretch marks are still dark. i do miss being pregnant sometimes and already thinking about baby number 3🫣

@Cheryl that’s hopeful! How many weeks are you now?

@Megan just over 3 weeks

I am 4 weeks PP and had baby via c section. I am already back to pre-pregnacy weight (gained 12kgs during pregnancy). My op site is only painful when the baby kicks me otherwise I feel okay. Now just waiting for my stomach muscles to heal. I don't miss being pregnant at all, so happy baby is here and I am never getting pregnant again lol

My pregnancy was a breeze! I was super lucky. No morning sickness or anything. I was fortunate enough to carry on yoga and strength training at the gym right up to 38 weeks pregnant. I did have pelvic girdle pain which was hard at times. Labour was a dream 4-5 hours gas and air, however all on the last push it was a bit dramatic. I don’t want to share too much as don’t want to frighten anyone who is due soon. But it was all fine. Recovery has surprisingly not been too bad, stitches were a bit uncomfy but pretty much heeled now, feels tight occasionally. I lost my bump pretty instantly and my uterus contracted back quickly. I do miss my bump. My emotions are wild. I cry a lot. I’m all over the place but after 3 weeks I’m going back to yoga and strength training. All for my mind sake really I’m hoping I can fit it in around my family life now and I’m fortunate to have a husband who is home in the evenings for me to be able to pop out for an hour.
